CS 705 - Cryptography and Blockchain (3 units) The cryptography and blockchain technology can provide important mechanisms for ensuring the privacy and integrity of sensitive information. In this course, students will learn underlying tools of cryptography and blockchain through a hands-on approach.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. apply engineering and computer science research and theory to advance the art, science, and practice of the discipline. 2. design and conduct experiments as well as to analyze, interpret, apply, and disseminate the data. 3. show an understanding of research methodology. 4. show an understanding of the blockchain technology and the underlying tools of cryptography.
