CEE 737 - Advanced Modeling and Analysis of Bituminous Materials (3 units) Presents current technological advancements in modeling and data analysis of bituminous materials, focusing on fundamental and advanced test methods for asphalt binders, asphalt concrete mixtures, and other type of paving materials.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. apply pavement and materials engineering research and theory to advance the art, science, and practice of the discipline. 2. design and conduct bituminous materials’ experiments as well as to analyze, interpret, apply, and disseminate the data. 3. develop means to validate raw data measurements and analyze bituminous test results. 4. write technical reports summarizing the results and findings from advanced bituminous tests.
