ME 611 - Comparative Biomechanics (3 units) This course will review bio-material properties, muscles, scaling laws, animal sensory systems and central pattern generators. Students will learn about jumping fleas, sliding slugs, flying flies, gripping geckos, trotting turkeys, and so much more.
