GEOG 455 - Planning Ethics (3 units) Professional ethics for design practitioners. Historic and current theories and practices in moral philosophy. Problematic issues of practice; environmental ethics, conflicts-of-interest, whistle-blowing.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. relate the role planning ethics play in a client based environment. 2. evaluate the potential ethic standings of selected planning case studies. 3. communicate the subject matter in written, verbal, or graphical format.
