Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. summarize historical patterns and developments in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese culture, economy, politics, demography and settlement from the 1st Chinese empire through the mid-19th century.
2. analyze these regional patterns using geographical concepts.
3. apply critical thinking, writing, and creative skills to analyze cultural and social relationships and processes in a regional context.
