Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. translate a research interest into a researchable question.
2. select the appropriate social-scientific method(s) to test their question(s).
3. develop mock research designs including experiments, surveys, and participant observation studies.
4. explain and apply methods of qualitative data analysis.
5. explain and apply methods of quantitative data analysis.
