SOC 737 - Survey Research Methods (3 units) Strategies and techniques of survey research, including planning, sampling, questionnaire construction, coding and data analysis.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. demonstrate familiarity with the many facets of total survey error including coverage error, sampling error, and measurement error. 2. design an original survey including stating survey objectives, selecting a mode(s), designing a sampling strategy, and writing a survey. 3. design survey objectives with planned data analyses in mind.
