Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify key texts, figures, concepts, and movements relevant to the course content. 2. read, interpret, and analyze primary source texts with attention to content, historical and cultural context, genre, and language. 3. read and use critical theory to engage in critical analyses of cultural texts relevant to the course content. 4. write critical analyses of cultural texts that adhere to MLA style guidelines. 5. integrate and synthesize knowledge related to the course content by writing a theoretically grounded research paper that adheres to MLA style guidelines.
