EDSP 686 - Principles of Behavior Analysis in Special Education (3 units) Introduction to philosophical and basic principles of learning, including principles, methods, theories, and applications of the science of behavior analysis, specifically within the educational context with a focus on special education.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. label and describe each of the basic concepts and principles of behavior analysis. 2. apply the knowledge, perspectives, principles, and types of reasoning discussed in this course in the context of practices for behavior analysts, with application to special education. 3. relate real-world examples to class content.
