ART 702 - Context and Criticality (3 units) Offered in any semester on a case-by-case basis to complete special projects, which contribute to an individual MFA-IA student’s development. This course qualifies as contributing to a contemporary critical discourse. Projects should be particular to the trajectory of a student’s overall movement towards their thesis. (Formerly SNU: ARTH 620)

Prerequisite(s): formerly Sierra Nevada University Interdisciplinary Art MFA student; instructor approval required.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 2 Units of Laboratory/Studio: 1 Offered: Every Fall and Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. provide final self-evaluation addressing the student’s movement in the course based on the MFA Interdisciplinary rubric.
