SBRM 490 - Internship in Ski Resort Management (1 to 6 units) Students will apply classroom learning in a ski industry internship to develop professional skills and gain greater understanding of ski industry operations.
Maximum units a student may earn: 6
Prerequisite(s): formerly Sierra Nevada University Ski Business and Resort Management student; instructor approval.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Internship/Practicum: 1 Offered: Every Fall and Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. apply classroom learning, theory, and course content to internship experiences in the ski industry. 2. identify, assess, and develop personal and professional strengths. 3. describe and explain work responsibilities and duties.
