SBRM 460 - Ski Resort General Management (3 units) Students will study ski resort departments and personnel in ski mountain resorts including operations, finance, human resources, risk management, planning, budgeting, profit centers, and food and beverage.
Maximum units a student may earn: 3
Prerequisite(s): formerly Sierra Nevada University Ski Business and Resort Management student; SBRM 350 ; Senior standing.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe the role of resort personnel including General Managers. 2. compare the role of resort General Manager’s in private, public, and consolidated ownership models. 3. create an organizational structure for a full service four season resort.
