ART 611 - Interdisciplinary Practices (3 units) This course introduces the core themes of the MFA-IA program, emphasizing collaborative strategies of interdisciplinary research and practice. Maximum of 6 credits.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. speak about their work and others’ work from a perspective informed by a fluid set of critical contexts. 2. have experienced collaborative art-making will have conceptualized and articulated a collaborative endeavor with participants from different disciplines. 3. show through discussion that they have an understanding of how their individual practices are part of a complex cultural community. 4. have defined possible relationships of entrepreneurship to their practices and will have displayed creative responses to opportunities.
