Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify and analyze the applicable theories of human diversity. 2. evaluate the relationship between police and minority communities. 3. articulate and analyze the difference between sociological and biological race. 4. describe the application of American law to racial and ethnic concerns. 5. differentiate hate crimes from other types of crime and explain why they are different. 6. explain stereotyping and its impact on society.
