EE 120 - Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (3 units) Transistors, op-amps used to build amplifiers and comparators, AM radio receivers, AC power generation and conversion, signals, power supply design, filters, intuitive NI-Multisim design projects.
Prerequisite(s): ENGR 100 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives. 3. acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
