ANTH 762 - Lab Seminar in Osteology (3 units) Methods in skeletal biology: evaluations of taphonomy, post-mortem interval, positive identifications, trauma, skeletal biology, and estimations of the biological profile. Laboratory analysis of osteological material, discussion of how methods are applied.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. perform skeletal analyses involved in bioarchaeology and forensic anthropology. 2. critically evaluate methods within the field of biological anthropology. 3. apply these methods in research and casework.
