ART 303 - Intermediate Life Drawing (3 units) Building on Life Drawing I, this course further develops the student’s understanding of the human form, observational skills, and self-expression.

Prerequisite(s): ART 101 ; ART 201 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Laboratory/Studio: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. demonstrate understanding of the structure and anatomy of the human body by reviewing these in text books and observing them in live models. 2. implement developed observational drawing skills from live models. 3. integrate expressive qualities of figure by modifying visual elements through various materials. 4. apply a research practice by examining the work of historical and contemporary figurative artists. 5. demonstrate intellectual and visual unity through leading critique sessions.
