ART 103B - Visual Foundations: Space (3 units) CO7, CO9 This is an introductory course with a focus on the artistic and scientific exploration of three-dimensional and digital spaces at the intersections of visual art, technology, and society. Students will make artworks manually, digitally, and through hybrid processes in traditional art studios and fabrication spaces at UNR.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. apply hands-on artistic skills in a range of three-dimensional and digital artistic media. 2. illustrate how scientific methods and research principles function within the intersections of art, society, and technology. 3. integrate contemporary art with scientific research and technology.
