ITLD 426 - Game Based Instruction (3 units) Theory, design, and practice of game based instruction. An approach of UX (User Experience) design for gamed based interactive learning.

Pre-requisite: EDU 214 – Preparing Teachers to Use Technology, or equivalent
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring - Odd Years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe and apply the theories and design of game based instruction and learning. 2. evaluate and determine the quality of a game to meet the goal of learning on a selected topic. 3. conduct the UX design and create a game unit to engage interactive learning.
