Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. assess the principles and purposes of public health surveillance. 2. monitor population health using surveillance data. 3. evaluate a public health surveillance system. 4. utilize GIS tools to interpret public health data to assess public health programs.
