Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. explain the economic concepts important to understanding how economies perform. 2. describe how government policies can affect economic performance. 3. explain major economic events in the major economies of the world, and how those events and associated government policies in those countries affected their economic performance. 4. collect, analyze, and present data on economic performance in the world’s major economies.
