EE 120 - Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (3 units) Introduction to foundational concepts in electrical engineering. Course topics include circuit analysis, software-based simulation, and MATLAB and Arduino programming. Hands-on projects apply these concepts to build practical engineering problem solving skills.
Maximum units a student may earn: 3
Prerequisite(s): ENGR 100 . Exclude students with junior and senior standing.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives. 3. acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
