Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. analyze key issues and ideas that shaped post-war British writing. 2. analyze contemporary British texts in their cultural and historical contexts. 3. identify and discuss the influence of the globe on British literature. 4. explain how local and global contexts of ideas or events result in nuanced or conflicting understandings of contemporary British literature.
