Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. demonstrate, by means of discussions, examinations, and essays, their ability to analyze and interpret primary sources.
2. demonstrate, by means of discussions, examinations, and essays, their ability to identify the arguments and themes of historical scholarship.
3. demonstrate, by means of examinations, their knowledge of ancient, medieval, and early modern England.
4. demonstrate, by means of a final project, their ability to synthesize and present complex historical information.
