ME 314 - Introduction to Heat Transfer (3 units) Conduction, convection and radiation relationships are applied to engineering problems. Analytical, numerical and graphical solutions are demonstrated.
Prerequisite(s): ME 380 or CEE 360 or CHE 373 ; CS 138 or CS 135 or MET 102 or CHE 245 ; ME 311 with a “C” or better.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall and Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
