This course explores human behavior and examines core managerial and leadership functions within organizational contexts. Key topics include leadership styles and behaviors, strategic visioning and planning, motivation, power and influence, communication, team process and development, interpersonal dynamics, collaboration, and conflict resolution. Students will gain practical tools and develop essential skills to navigate challenges, become effective managers, and enhance professional growth.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. define core leadership concepts and evaluate their relevance to enhance managerial decision-making across diverse organizational contexts, including strategic planning, ethical challenges, power and influence, motivation, communication, and culture.
2. identify essential managerial competencies for building high-performing teams, fostering psychological safety, managing interpersonal dynamics, promoting effective collaboration and resolving conflicts within teams.
3. evaluate and differentiate among key leadership styles and managerial strategies, applying them effectively to diagnose and address organizational issues.
4. evaluate and assess individual characteristics and personal managerial competencies, developing practical managerial knowledge, skills, and tools.
5. integrate and synthesize leadership theories to conduct independent scholarly inquiry—critically evaluating empirical research, constructing original conceptual frameworks, and generating evidence-based insights for complex managerial challenges.
