Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. aurally identify many of the great jazz improvisors of the past and present.
2. demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the basic scales and chords used in jazz improvisation.
3. memorize and perform several basic jazz tunes.
