Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. demonstrate increased proficiency in solving issues of practical and clear music notation.
2. show a greater proficiency and sophistication in creating original musical compositions.
3. demonstrate a greater proficiency in using and understanding the sonic capabilities of their compositional media (acoustic or electronic).
4. identify emerging trends in contemporary marching ensembles and trace them back to their historical roots.
