Application of behavioral principles and techniques across settings, including the home, school, hospital, and community. Emphasis on behavioral assessment, measurement, and intervention procedures to improve socially significant behavior across the lifespan.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. describe behavioral assessment and intervention methods across populations (developmental disabilities, adolescents, older adults), settings (human service, organizational, community), and professional disciplines (pediatrics, rehabilitation, education).
2. provide examples of operationally defined measurable behavior in humans, observation and recording methods used to track behavior in baseline and intervention phases, and behavior change outcomes associated with contingent environmental changes.
3. apply behavior analytic principles to design and evaluate behavior change programs or interventions.
