PSY 771 - Clinical Psychology Ethics and Professional Issues (3 units) Introduction to professional ethics and standards in psychotherapy and research. Supervision and current professional issues will be considered.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. critically apply concepts central to ethical decision making in psychology. 2. describe history and systems with respect to psychology as a profession and their research area of interest. 3. explain critical issues in supervision, including the ability to write professionally on this topic. 4. describe consultation and interprofessional/interdisciplinary skills issues, including the ability to verbally present on this topic.
