PSY 771 - Clinical Psychology Ethics and Professional Issues

Introduction to professional ethics and standards in psychotherapy and research. Supervision and current professional issues will be considered.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. critically apply concepts central to ethical decision making in psychology.
2. describe history and systems with respect to psychology as a profession and their research area of interest.
3. explain critical issues in supervision, including the ability to write professionally on this topic.
4. describe consultation and interprofessional/interdisciplinary skills issues, including the ability to verbally present on this topic.
