Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. articulate an understanding of the “‘omics-based” technologies.
2. explain how omics-based approaches can be applied to address specific research questions in specific disciplines and distinguish between research questions that are and are not appropriate for such an approach.
3. manipulate datasets generated through omics analysis using the appropriate computational algorithms.
4. critically evaluate the approach of other researchers and comment on strengths and weaknesses.
5. articulate how omics-based approaches have transformed society through advancements in science.
