JOUR 605 - Motion Graphics (3 units) Learn the theories, techniques, and practices of motion graphics and the integration of design, photo imaging, sound, video, and animation.

Prerequisite(s): JOUR 756 .

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. create motion graphics from a variety of static sources. 2. examine and distinguish among common animation techniques. 3. apply animation techniques to create realistic movement in visual stories. 4. conceive and create a script for motion graphics. 5. utilize audio, typography and design to make a visual production. 6. produce motion graphics in advanced formats such as 3D and immersive media.
