Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. analyze and contrast indigenous Latin-American and Spanish European cultures in the Early Modern period from a transatlantic perspective.
2. demonstrate the ability to read critically and share views on Spanish Golden Age and Early Modern Latin-American texts while taking into account the historical conditions of their production.
3. articulate, in written materials and in class discussions, interpretations and analyses of literary and historical primary sources and to research corresponding secondary materials.
