Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. identify and define major themes, movements, and authors in contemporary French and Francophone literature.
2. interpret and analyze primary source material with attention to genre, content, and literary and/or historical value.
3. articulate, in class discussions and in writing, interpretations and analyses of primary and secondary sources.
