IS 775 - Practicum in Information Systems Teaching (1 unit) This course provides doctoral students with pedagogical practices in teaching information systems topics. Students will write and critique syllabi; discuss and critique ongoing teaching practices; prepare classroom assignments or presentations; and engage in all aspects of the teaching process.
Maximum units a student may earn: 1
Prerequisite(s): Admission into the PhD program in Business Administration (Information Systems) or instructor approval.
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 1 Offered: Every Spring - Even Years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. write and critique class syllabi. 2. design and critique class assignments. 3. teach an information systems topic.
