Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. define rhetoric and advocacy. 2. explain rhetorical theories related to advocacy. 3. analyze a rhetorical situation to identify options available to advocates. 4. evaluate rhetorical strategies addressing a public exigence.
