Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. construct broadcast journalism video stories that effectively inform an audience. 2. apply advanced broadcast writing and editing techniques. 3. apply broadcast reporting styles and professional ethical standards. 4. revise video work incorporating peer and professor feedback. 5. assemble a newscast using news judgment to assign, stack, and order stories. 6. prepare a professional work sample. 7. revise video work incorporating professional industry feedback. 8. manage a newscast.
