Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. apply strategies to prevent injury and promote health and wellness.
2. perform advanced, evidence-informed orthopedic assessments of upper extremity injuries and conditions to accurately formulate differential and clinical diagnoses.
3. integrate scenario-based clinical reasoning with the ICF framework to evaluate function, identify impairments and activity limitations, and communicate findings effectively within the healthcare team.
4. justify lower extremity clinical decision making using appropriate health informatics tools, quality improvement principles, and professional/legal standards.
