CHE 450 - Techniques of Process Design, Economics and Safety (3 units) Principles of chemical engineering process design. Economics, safety, social and ethical considerations; organization of process design; process synthesis; computer optimization techniques applied to design. (Major capstone course.)
Prerequisite(s): CHE 361, CHE 374, ENG 102; CH 201 or CH 202 or CH 203; junior or senior standing. Corequisite(s): CHE 485R.
