STAT 467 - Statistical Theory (3 units) Introduction to classical mathematical statistics. Multivariate distributions; interval and point estimation; sufficiency; unbiasedness, and information inequality; Bayesian estimation; testing hypotheses; power calculations; linear models.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 283 with a “C-” or better; MATH 330 ; STAT 352 /MATH 352 or MATH 461
