II. Description

The 18-credit Minor is designed for students interested in supplementing their major field of study. The six courses of the minor provide an overview of the knowledge and skills specific to addiction treatment services. 

III. Program Requirements (18 units)

Students must complete the following courses:

• CAS 154 - Problems of Substance Abuse and Addiction (3 units)
• CAS 254 - Signs and Symptoms of Addiction (3 units)
• CAS 255 - Substance Abuse Prevention (3 units)
• CAS 354 - Screening and Client Engagement (3 units)
• CAS 355 - Individual and Group Addiction Treatment (3 units)
• CAS 454 - Assessment and Case Management of Addictions (3 units)
