Addiction Treatment and Prevention Services, Graduate Certificate

The 18-unit graduate certificate is available to people who already have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and wish to add addiction-specific information to their body of knowledge. It is particularly useful to those wishing to be licensed by the state of Nevada as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). A formal application is required and may be obtained through CASAT. Each student is advised on the six courses that best meet their goals and whether they already have addiction coursework at the undergraduate level and work experience in the addiction field.

Note: Students who are enrolled in this program solely are not eligible for Federal Financial Aid.
