Description
The Bachelor of Science in Economics is designed to prepare students for positions as economic and statistical analysts in business, government and nonprofit organizations, and for the teaching profession. In addition, it provides a strong foundation for graduate study and research in the fields of economics, business, public policy and law.

Admission Requirements
All students who are interested in graduating with a B.S. in Business degree in Economics start by being declared as “pre-majors.” Pre-majors must complete Core Writing, Core Mathematics, the Pre-Business Core, and a total of 60 units before meeting with an advisor to declare the Economics business major. Students must declare their Economics business major before they may take any courses in the Upper-Division Business Core.
