Nutrition (Nutritional Sciences Specialization), B.S.


The nutritional sciences specialization as a pre-health major provides excellent preparation for those students whose career goals include medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, etc. The nutritional science specialization also prepares the student for graduate work (M.S., Ph.D.) in nutrition.

Students will be able to:

  • demonstrate knowledge of the scientific basis of the nutrition discipline.
  • demonstrate competency in the interpretation and critical analysis of the scientific literature which will be integrated into evidence-based practice.
