Electrical Engineering, Minor

This 19-credit minor requires students to take labs and coursework in both circuits and signals and systems. In addition, students select 9 credits from upper-division electrical engineering courses.

In addition to the general university requirements of at least a “C” (2.0) GPA for graduation, all Electrical Engineering minors must earn at least a “C” in those minor courses designated with an asterisk (*) and a “C” average for all courses used to satisfy the minor requirements.

EE 220 - Circuits I (3 units) *
EE 220L - Circuits I Laboratory (1 unit)
EE 221 - Circuits II (3 units)
EE 362 - Signals and Systems (3 units)
9 units must be selected from:
CPE 201 - Digital Design (3 units)
CPE 301 - Embedded Systems Design (3 units)
upper-division EE courses*

*(ENGR 100 , EE 291 , EE 296 , EE 396 , and EE 496 may not be included)

No more than nine of the 19 units used to satisfy minor requirements may also be used to satisfy major requirements.
