Gerontology, Minor


This 18-credit course of study covers the biological, physiological, communicative, psychological, social, and health aspects of aging and includes 135 hours of service learning experience with older adults.

I. Program Requirements (18 units)


To complete the gerontology minor, students must take 18 credits of required core courses. A core component of this program is 135 hours of service learning with older adults.
