The Information Systems major is designed for those students interested in business-oriented, computer technology-based information systems.  Students will learn both conceptual knowledge and skills to prepare for a future as an information systems professional.  The major integrates general business and management knowledge with expertise in computer technology (including programming, database, web, and networking) to help students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain employment in a competitive job market, start a business, or pursue further education in graduate and professional degree programs.

Note: Students may not earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Information Systems AND a second major in Accounting  and Information Systems either concurrently or subsequently. Students may earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with dual majors in Accounting and Information Systems.  Students also have the option to major in Information Systems and complete a minor in Accounting .
