Military Science, Minor

The overall objective of the ROTC program is to develop in the student/cadet–through both classroom theory and practical application–the necessary traits, knowledge, proficiency and experience in order to be commissioned as an officer in the United States Army.

Admission Requirement
This minor is only open to students who have contracted with the U. S. Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Wolf Pack Battalion. I. Program Requirements (18-22 units)
Students majoring in another field may minor in Military Science by completing the following: - Minor GPA | 2.0
- Minor Upper-Division Units | 9
- Minor Residency Requirement | 6 Upper-Division Units in the minor at UNR
A. Basic course requirement (2-6 units)
B. Advanced course requirement (13 units)
C. Military History Requirement (3 units)
D. Optional Program Electives (0 units)
