Truckee Meadows Community College: Core Curriculum Transfer Agreement

A candidate for a bachelor’s degree must earn a minimum of 120 units, at least 40 of which must be in upper-division courses (numbered 300 or higher). A minimum of 30 upper-division units must be taken in residence at the University of Nevada, Reno
Students who graduate from a Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) community college with an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), or an Associate of Business (AB) degree automatically fulfill lower-division Core Curriculum requirements (CO1-8) at the University unless specific Core courses are required for completion of the student’s degree program.

To ensure a successful transition to the University and graduation in four years, students must work with academic advisors at UNR and TMCC throughout their education. With the assistance of advisors at both institutions, students may earn an AA, AS, or AB degree after transferring to the University via reverse transfer. Core Curriculum Requirements
