Nevada Career Studio

The Nevada Career Studio is the new hub of career services for all students at the University of Nevada, Reno. The Career Studio’s mission is to equip all Nevada students with the tools and strategies to navigate their careers with clarity, competence and confidence. The team is motivated by a vision to empower all Nevada students to lead lives of connection and meaning. The Studio approach to career development emphasizes student learning and achievement. All Nevada Career Studio programming supports the integration of students’ academic and career interests and their development of lifelong career management skills.

The Career Studio is located at the Pennington Student Achievement Center, Suite 206. A team of advisors, including peer Career Mentors, works with undergraduate and graduate students during daily drop-in visits. There is no need to make an appointment. Students can receive guidance and support in everything from writing a resume to landing an internship to navigating a job search. The Studio is designed as an adaptive space in which students can work toward career goals with support from the career advising team, along with access to cutting-edge resources. Independent and collaborative work stations, as well as multimedia spaces for bringing together students and employers, are available
